Living and working in North Carolina for more than thirty years, Debbie creates work referencing forms in the natural world using materials of the earth including clay and metal.
Debbie began her career working in ceramics. She received an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Professional Arts and Crafts: Sculpture from Central Carolina Community College in 2013 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in sculpture from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2016.
Debbie has apprenticed with Neolia Cole Womack, an eleventh-generation North Carolina potter and has served as the Ceramics Studio manager for the North Carolina Arts Incubator in Siler City.
Debbie's work is available from her studio in Chapel Hill as well as regional craft galleries.
